Research Engineer

Job Description:

Goals/Mission:

As major contributor of Trend Micro malware detection rate, trace latest threat landscape, provide solution on its auto-identification in backend, as well as solutions for front line protection in engine and product.

Responsibility:

• Analyze malicious code or vulnerability to understand how they work
• Design and improve the threat automatic identification system
• Provide innovative ideas and research directions on threat landscape analysis and malware detection.

Requirements:

• Major in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields.
• Passion in security industry/threat landscape/malicious code research
• 3+ years experience in security domain
• Excellent analytical thinking and experience in algorithm development
• Knowledge/Experience on Computer Language, Operating system and Network Security
• Creativity, self-motivation, and great team player
• Knowledge/Experience on anti-virus/heuristic detection/sandboxing technology, OR Statistics Analysis, Artificial Intelligent, and Data Mining, OR underlying technologies within operating systems/Reverse engineering is preferred
• Excellent written and verbal English & Chinese communication skills is preferred
